Is there a way to get the system log in the SV9100 to send to a syslog server? We often lose our SIP registration which requires us to do the uncheck/check box on 10-36. I'm usually not aware of this until one of our users has informed me that they can't dial out. It would be nice to be notified immediately when it happens so I can address it hopefully before most users even realize it isn't working. Constantly checking the system alarm from WebPro isn't cutting it. I noticed the system alarm can be emailed at various times but doesn't seem to email on-demand when something happens like a lost registration.

Thanks!

I've never tried to do this but in 10-20-06 you can set a port for DIM output, it may be worth setting that and monitoring it to see if it is outputting the info you want. You may also need to set up 90-31. Another simple way is to set up your phone in 90-50 so that alarms are shown on the display of your phone (and any others you may want to have this in case you are absent).

What do you put in on 90-50 to get it to display? Is it wanting the extension number of the phone?

I have 90-11 setup with my email server info but have never received any emails from the system.

For 10-20-06, I have 50000 for the port. I was able to connect via Putty to it with the username/password. It seems to spit out somewhat cryptic data like this.

== 21/DEC/2021, 8:36:33 ==
*(EVENT),ID:00000000H,P1:007E0004H,P2:00000000H,P3:000005B9H

I noticed it spit out data every time I pushed a button on my phone or made a call. Don't know how to decipher it.

You have to set the alarm to report in the settings. You also have to set whatever email you are using for a simple SMTP push...much as a printer etc does. If you are using Office 365 you will need the SMTP relay.

DIM events happen on every function on the system.

I just enabled alarm #60 on 90-10 to report which I believe is the one for SIP registration. We'll see if I get anything. We have our own email server with dovecot / sendmail so it should be configured correctly.

Is there a program that connects to the DIM port that will better decipher the data it's putting out?
