Howdy,

What is needed to make a softphone work on an SV9100? I have the licenses, but I'm not sure I have the right hardware. Its looking like I need the inblade server to run this, but I wanted to confirm with the gurus. Can someone give me a quick breakdown of what's needed to simply run a softphone on the SV9100?

Thanks

The SV9100 UC Suite allows users to control their SV9100 terminal from their PC (Deskset mode) or the
PC can become their SV9100 terminal (Softphone - IP Soft Phone Mode).
Through licensing control and user selection, the application can be tailored to meet the needs of a
variety of end users. Additional utilities are provided as part of the UC Suite.
Licenses;
SV9100 SOFTPHONE CLIENT- LIC 01
SV9100 STANDARD USER-01 OT LIC
SP310 softphone software, included in UC Suite DVD

I have the licenses and UC Suite installed. But I believe this needs a server, as I realize there's no place to build user names to login. Is this correct?

I'm also finding that SP310 is not commpatible with SV9100 (but was compatible in UK). Is this incorrect? It seems that SP310 was phased out for UC Suite.

SV9100 Features And Specs. still lists SP310, however, the replacement is the SP350. As far as I know, no server is required, just the SP350 software and licenses.
