Hi all. I have been given the phone responsibilities for my school district and obviously was never given any training. I placed a new phone meant for students to call home. The school is requesting that it not be able to call other extensions in the building (don't need little jimmy calling a random classroom).

Any ideas how I can do this?

You will need to build a restriction class that restricts intercom calls.
In MB 21-05-11 you can check ICM call restriction. You will also need to allow outgoing trunk calls.
EX: class 2
01 - International Call Restrict Table,Assigned
02 - International Call Permit Table, Assigned
04 - Maximum number digits table assignment, 0
05 - Common Permit Table Assigned
06 - Common Restrict Table Assigned
07 - Permit Code Table 0
08 - Restrict Code Table 1
09 - Restriction for Common Speed Dials 0
10 - Restriction for Group Speed Dials 0
11 - Intercom Call Restriction 1
12 - Restriction of PBX calls 0
13 - Restriction of Tie Line calls 0
Assign the class to the extensions in MB 21-04
Build out 21-06-01, 011
21-06-04, 911
21-06-05, 1900, 900, 976
