Hello, Ran into a strange issue setting up a new phone. I installed the license first. Then I used the first available extension and added the 4-digit extension number in 11-02. I checked 15-05 after to make sure the mac was blank for that extension and it was. After powering up the phone, I got the error "Full Port". I tried to delete the port (90-23) but I get the error "There were errors when trying to apply the changes".

I powered off the phone, removed the programming in 11-02 and rebooted. Then I used a different port in 11-02 and programmed an extension I was sure had never been used. Powered on the phone and got a different error "Duplicate Register Port".

I'm doing all of this from Web-Pro as I'm working on this remotely. Normally it is pretty plug N play. 11-02, 15-01, 15-07, 15-09, 15-20, 24-09, and finally 47-02. We've never had to actually do any programming on the phone itself or from the phone's web interface. I checked other phones and none of them are programmed manually with the SIP User, SIP Ext, SIP Server, SIP Port, etc.

I'm sure it is something simple but I can't seem to hunt it down. Any suggestions or guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This may be a stupid guess, but the last programming done by the vendor was an SLT configuration to allow our PBX to make calls on behalf of our Valcom lockdown system. The technician installed a dialer that integrates Valcom with the PBX to make a call to first responders when a specific Valcom event is triggered. In 11-02, Station port 55 = the SLT dialer. The new extension/station I was setting up is on Station port 56.

After having issues, I thought I would change it up and move to a few station ports further down. I tried moving the extension to Station port 59, but that doesn't show up in 15-01. Also in 15-01, all the working phones are XXXX: IP - xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - Port XXX, but the new one shows XXXX: SLT - Port 56.

I could be way off but I think there is something about how the "ports" are configured. Apologies if I'm way off base.

Hello all,

A update and a new problem. After all the steps above didn't work, I went back to PC Pro. On the filters page > IP Phone List, Port 59 was listed so I selected it. That still didn't resolve it so I then programmed the phone itself: SIP Extension, SIP Server, SIP Port. After the reboot the phone was working.

The only thing I cannot get working now is the GB license. In Feature Activation, I show a free license. I know the ethernet line is perfect as I connected another phone and it came up at 1000MB/1GB. For some reason, this new phone will not pull it's license or enable the GB feature. Any suggestions on areas to check? I went into the phone and programmed the License Server Settings (Address), and enabled the Gigabit Ethernet.

Thanks!

15-30:53... That was the last issue. Setting that to Yes, fixed the GB license issue. Hope this helps someone!
