I have a few years of experience with modification and administrative tasks on an SV8100, but mainly just basic user feature setup. We have a newly installed SV9100 that has ring tones that are confusing some of our outside callers and internal users. Basically, when someone calls a line or is transferred to a line that is busy, the tone rings, then plays a busy tone, ring, busy tone, and so on until it offers to record a voicemail. Users keep reporting that there's something wrong with the new phone system, but its just that the tones are unfamiliar. I need to try to find a tone that is a more common indicator of a busy phone line.
