Good Morning all,

We've got an SV8100 with UM800 for VM. Currently, our main line rings at one station, the receptionist. I need to increase the number of rings before it's sent to the hunt group (if that's even what it's called on this system).

Thanks in advance for what seems like a simple fix. I just can't seem to find it anywhere in WebPro or the UM8000 admin.

Thank you for the quick response...I just changed that value from 30 to 90.

Where can I see the hunt group? I need to add two layers instead of just the one additional.

Phone rings at PBX (just changed it from 30 seconds to 90 seconds)
Then it needs to ring same extension (pbx) and one other station for 30 seconds
Then it can release to 5-10 other numbers...

Thanks again!!

put a virtual key of 200 on the phones you want to ring. check 15-09 for the key on that phone. set 15-09 and 15-11 for the phones you want to delay ring

That setting I changed 24-02-03 from 30 to 90 doesn't seem to have made a difference in delaying the call to the secondary group. Rings 5-6 times, then second group starts to ring. Need roughly 10 rings. (not that I would expect anyone to wait 10 rings for someone. Ha! I wouldn't.

How is your call flow set up. IS 200 a Virtual ext? please provide snap shot of 22-11 for DID going to 200

200 is a Virtual Extension therefore is not in the DID setup.

Virtual extensions can be in the DID's. how are you directing the incoming caller to the group?

caller dials one or our public numbers, they are met by an auto attendant "thank you for calling...blah blah blah, enter an extension or zero for receptionist", hit zero...PBX rings. Here's the DID for what appears to be two of our outside lines. it transfers to 300 which is UM8000.

In the UM8000 is 200 built as an subscriber or something else? what is 200 built as?

200 is set up as a subscriber. The main recording is in the opening boxes greetings. The system operator box has call transfer settings pointed to 200 for both night and day. On the 200 Subscriber, the transfer option is set to release and the number of rings is greyed out at 4 rings. In the system Operator box, the transfer type is release, and the wait for rings is set to 0, but greyed out.
