Have Customer with SV8100 running 3.x version software. They would like to upgrade to 9.5. Can the software be downloaded from the NEC NTAC site? Is an upgrade license required? And is it as easy as loading from a USB stick in the SV8100? Any issues going straight from 3.0 to 9.5?

SV8100 Upgrade Question

You can upgrade without a license but any new (9.5) features will not work without a license.
I took a 4.0 to an 8.0 once with no problems. I can't say about 3.0 to 9.5.
I use a 4 GB USB 2.0 thumb drive. I would not try it with a USB 3.0 stick.
And make a backup, of course.
