Hello all,

Our Nortel MICS was recently replaced with an NEC Univerge SV8100. Our configuration consists of both digital and IP phones in our building. I wanted to inquire about the steps involved with replacing a digital phone with an IP phone while preserving the extension and system data that was on the digital phone

any help would be appreciated,

thanks

First off you need to make sure that you have the capability for IP phones including enough licenses.
I'd create a new IP phone extension, use the copy commands to match the settings, then swap the extension numbers.
