SV8100 how to transfer from VRS message to Routing mailbox message and back 1

I'm setting up a system with different options for callers, depending on night-mode and on the trunk it comes in.

The problem I have now is this:
When caller calls I can answer it with VRS or Voicemail (via DIL) in 22-02. I can set this for each trunk and each night mode.
- For VRS that's ok because in 25-02 i can specify what message needs to be played. only problem there is that 25-06 is very limited in options, I can only use extension numbers or next attendant message numbers. I can't have users choose for a specific announcement or routing mailbox or let them choose a option that call's a outside number like a cell phone.
- For DIL I can specify the InMail (555) in 22-07 so it goes to a routing mailbox. Problem is I can't specify which one depending on night-mode.

In a nutshell, VRS provides me a lot of options to set which message I want to be played but is very limited in the 1-digit codes. InMail gives me a lot of options as 1-digit options in the Dial Action Tables but is very limited in setting which message I want to play depending the night-mode.

If I could transfer from a VRS message to the InMail messages, problem would be solved but the only option I see for that is to have a 1-digit code to 555 but that brings me to the same problem that I cant specify which message should be played. Or am I missing something?
Any thoughts?

Analog phones will not ring with a virtual. Try setting call forward both ring for the virtual to the analog phone in 24-09.
Call forward no answer is in MB 24-02-03.
No VRS messages.

Then I'm better of using ring groups, because I want some analogue phones to ring to. Also I like the messages :)
I wish I could use inmail dial action tables to transfer to a ring group. That would solve everything. Well, you can't always get what you want. :)

Something completely different, I have to minor issues going on, both about analogue phones:

- I don't have CID on Analogue phones
- Flash key (to put someone on hold) is not working on analogue phones

Probably wrong settings I don't see, any hints on that?

You can use the dial action table to trf to a ring gp. Use unscreened trf to the department group pilot, MB 11-07.
Tailor the dept gp to ring circular or linear, MB 16-01.
You may need to adjust HF timers, MB 81-01-14/15
 
Don't forget that you can trick the system by using virtual loopbacks. With these you can send the call to an extension number that is then re-presented as an incoming trunk that can ring a ring group (or anything else you can do with a trunk)!
 
Hi all,

The last few days I was very busy with hardware like cabling, patchpanel, switches, etc. I'm going to look in your suggestions about the ringgroup and virtual loopbacks later.
At this moment I have another issue about the virtuals:

When a virtual is called from a extension, the right phones are ringing. problem is the phones that are ringing can't pick up the call. When you pick up you just get a dial tone, light op top keeps flashing. Any thoughts on that?

Found it. It was not CAP key or the "land on key" setting but the problem was in 15-08: "always auto-answer me"

@OzzieGeorge, can you explain more about using the virtual loopbacks and how to use them?
