Hi All,
Quick run through of what I've set up and what I'm looking to do.

Setup:
2 extensions.
Ext 1234 --- Primary
Ext 4321 --- Secondary

Ext 1234 Soft Key set to CFA-Ring Both = 4321.

Both phones ring fine. Either phone can be answered fine.

Problem:
Phones ring indefinitely. I was under the assumption that after a number of rings (4 or so), the system would pull the call back and place it into 1234's VM.

Apparently not?

Is there a way to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

G'day Twizty,

Are both the phones Digital? If so I have a way of doing it.

Unfortunately when a call is being forwarded, you seem to be cancelling the call forward to the Voicemail.

Cheers,

Chalky.

If 1234 is CFA to 4321, then 4321 should be CF( ) to VM. The number dialed is always sent to the VM, so 1234's VM box would get the message after it rings at 4321. If 4321 is not CF( ) to VM then the call is taken back to 1234 or follows the CF( ) setting.

I think I know what you're saying.

Since I didn't tell 4321 to send unanswered to VM, it rings indefinitely?

So if I set unanswered calls for 4321 to CF to 5555 (our VM ext), it should work.
