Hi guys. I do need your help...

We have SV8100 call dropping issue during transfer to all extensions. We have three POTS lines(in hunting group), and all incoming calls go to auto-attendant menu (In-Mail). We just noticed that all calls are immediately dropping (3sec) after pressing 3-digit extension number during auto-attendant announcement. This happens when caller calls to one of specific POTS lines.

So far, we've tried:

-#1: MB 81-07 Codec Filter Type from type2 to "No-Filter"
-#2: MB 14-01-33 from 32 to "28"
-#3: Replaced In-Mail, PZ-21, CPU board with new one

We called NTAC; however, we could not get any solutions...
Any ideas?

Thanks, -Sam

Test it without the in mail fronting calls to see if it is a system issue or an in mail issue.
Back up your database, then default the system and test it at default. If the problem is gone, then you know it is an issue with your database. You can reload your back up and start to trouble shoot it, or re key your database testing at various intervals to find the problem. This is probably not the answer you are looking for, but this system has so many options and it's easy to flag something that is not what you think it is and get these strange issues. We have installed many 8100's and have not seen this particular issue.
Also make sure you have the latest firmware loaded.

I forgot one important thing to tell you; This strange thing happens "Randomly", NOT all the time... :-(
