SV8100 Beeping 1

Im having a strange problem on a SV8100.

When on an outbound call i get a beeping sound in the background after a few seconds. The call also goes silent for a second every now and then.
I am using IP phones. Any Ideas?
 
I know on the 9500 beeping like that is a packet loss warning. You probably have a network issue. I also know there is a setting that can turn off the beeping but that is like taking the battery out of your smoke detector because you are playing with matches.
 
Budbyrd is correct it is a packet loss warning. The phone is seeing lost RTP packets. If you don't hear a problem you still have one. If you want to confirm it is packet loss turn it off. This is under USER settings

Is trhis possible via the web gui for the IP-Phone as they do not have displays?
 
If you have Comcast. they are doing this to a bunch of our customers and are unable to permanently fix it.
