I have an SV8100.
I have never worked on one before nor have any training. All my past experience is on an Avaya Communication Manager 1.1

I had my NEC dealer add a SIP license to the system. He said it will work with 3rd party gear.

I am trying to register an ATA....specifically a Cisco SPA122.

I need help on the NEC creating the SIP extension...creating the username/password. I tried making my own extension a SIP extension by editing 10-36 and 15-16, but neither the ATA nor X-Lite softphone will register.

I tried to RTFM, but I cant find TFM!

I have successfully set up 3rd Party SIP devices however it is very reliant upon the network/wifi connection. Can you please confirm you have enabled this IP extension and have created within the port range of the IP? Also, try using 3CX alternatively just to see if the extension is working.
