Dears,
I have two queries of 9100

1) I have a sv9100(A), which is ccis links with other two 9100(B&C) & two 8300.
Sys A and B are in single network, one location and others are in different location.
Now problem is calling between sys A and C not possible sometimes, same time getting ping ok,but no communication from both side.
Sys A 64 ipla
Sys C 16 lpla
If I replug the patch cable of ipla, comm.is possible from both side.
Please any permanent solution?

2) Dialing problem in some analoge ports of 9100. After daling 2 or 3 digits, hears ring back tone and gets no reply and which no.call goes not identify.External no.goes to wrong. If I changed from DTMF to DP in 150301, extn working properly.
What is the reason of this type problem?

Any helpful tips please.

Thanks

1) Sounds like a network issue. Try setting you network ports to fixed 100mb, full duplex. Replace LAN cable, AND strain relief it to make sure it does not move up/down/side to side to give intermittent poor connections.
2) Analog ports should be set to DP to allow DTMF pass through. It's a must setting for VM ports.

thank you for reply

2) what is reason some ports req.to convert in to DP. If it is continue in DP any problem ?

Only SLT ports that require DTMF pass through need to be set as DP. I cannot explain why NEC does it that way but it will not affect your dialing.
