I have recently purchased Susie 9.1 Professional. The box says it supports AMD Athalon 64 bit proc (which I have, an AMD Athalon 64 3200).

The manual also states there is 64 bit code. Where is it??? When I did the install, I got a message stating something to the affect: "Cool computer. You have a 64 bit processor but are loading 32 bit software." Is the 64 bit software on the 2 included DVD's?? The manual makes no mention of where the software is or now to install it? Any ideas? Thanks!

The install DVD has two sides. Side A is 32 bit. Side B is 64 bit.

Hope this helps,
Zed

Thanks for the info. My system didn't have a dvd-rom in it until this past weekend. I re-installed Suse and I now *assume* it's running the 64bit software, as I didn't get any message stating that the 32bit code was going to be loaded.
