I know something similar has been posted before and i have read the thread but i still cannot get rid of surfsidekick3 from my pc. I cannot find the file skk.exe which many say includes an uninstall key.. i have tried numerous solutions from posting on boards like this one and still i cant get rid of it! I have used hijack this and spy sweeper both only have temporary results.. I have been into SAFE mode and deleted it from the regedit page and still no joy.. it just replicates itself. Even killbox cant delete the files... it seems skkbho.dll and skkcore.dll are undeletable!

Surfsidekick3 can someone pls help me remove this

A few things. First off download these programs and run a full system scan with them in safe mode.
When finish, restart into normal mode and run hijackthis and post the logfile on here. Also after running these in safe mode and when you load. Disable system restore and then reneable it to clear all the junk out of it.

->>Run
->>Type in "MSCONFIG"
->>Click the "OK" command button.
Under the startup tab clear the checkbox to disable the startup item "surfsidekick3.exe"
Key Combination
Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the close program dialog box. In the list of options select the item "skk" and then click
the "Endtask" command button.
Get rid of the executable and then get rid of the direct link library of it. There should be a directory folder named
c:/Program files/Surfsidekick3, delete it if its there.
