Surfing then getting redirected

Hiya all, I would like to know if there is a way I could prevent myself from being redirected when i'm surfing the net. I was on a web site this morning, and all of a sudden I was sent to another site then another. My gosh, I seen things so nasty (could believe my eyes)and don't want my children to see. It wouldn't stop redirecting me, i must of have 10-12 web sites open. It didn't stop until my computer hung (there is a God).

I use a little program called Web Window Killer. It doesn't keep you from being redirected but it does automatically close the web pages you don't want to see based on the wording on the title bar. You may find this useful.

My only word of caution is to not add web pages that use only one word in their title otherwise you will get a lot of pages that will close on you automatically. joegz
