Suppression or filter based on criteria 1

I have a report that captures Dairies in a Series of Bad Test Results. When a dairy gets their milk tested and it is bad, it goes into a series and requires special testing. They can get off the list by having 3 consecutive good results. I need to be able to use a suppression or a filter to remove any records included prior to the 3 or more consecutive good results.

In this example record 1 puts them on a Series.
Record 6 takes them off the series and they would stay off until the next bad sample (record 8)
I would only want record 8 and the next records until I get 3 more good consecutive records.

We are using Crystal Reports 2018 with a Microsoft SQL database.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Rose Mary

Very first group 647, shows 2 records before the first bad record.

Dairy 101 shows 3 good records for Lab Pasteurization Count when in fact there is a bad record after the 7/9 date picked up by a creamery driver that should start them on the series and it is not shown on the report.

The report is attached.

I thought you wanted to show all records UNTIL there were three good records. The count formula is working correctly I think--unsuppress the detail section of the subreport to see this. The problem here is that this is set up to disregard (and suppress) entries by a driver if not the first in a group. Maybe that row should not be suppressed and instead highlighted to show so that it makes more sense?

No, the only time I want to see a BAD record from a creamery driver is if it is the record that starts the sequence of a series. Most of the time this would be the way it would happen. Once a dairy is in a series they require that inspectors collect the milk for testing, until they are off the series. Therefore, a test ran by error on a dairy collected by a creamery driver in series should not be considered.

I do think that possibly highlighting those records tested in error could be the answer.

Just remove the last clause in the detail suppression formula (the part in parens) that reference the group field and the driver. Then you can use that to highlight the detail section.

Okay. There is still the issue with the original problem I posed today, but I will check this out and see where I am.

Thank you again for so much of your time. This has truly been the most challenging report I have had in 15 years.
