Progress database with CR 2008.
I have a rerport that pulls data from a transaction table based on fields stored as text, and I have to link the details in this table to another where the link values are stored as numbers.
I have therefore created a subreport to get the correct values from the second table, and I use SQL formulas to make the subreport parameters convert to the proper format.

I have placed the subreport in Detail_a, and the main report fields in Detail_b.

My question is this: Is there any way to suppress Detail_a when the subreport value = zero?

Thanks

You will have to force the subreport to completely suppress ie all sections suppress if report total = 0.

Provided that this returns a complete blank, in section expert for detailA you can check suppress if blank.

That did the trick. Thanks very much.
