Hi,

I have a Word 2k document with header and footer. At the end of the document, if I insert a page break, I get a blank page with the header and footer of the document. Is there a way to suppress the header and footer on the blank page?

My general problem is like this: I want to create one Word document from many small Word and Excel files, so I insert them one after another. Each file has its own header and footer, but they would not show individually. The resulting document would have the header and footer of the file I started with.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Try inserting your page break as a "next page section break" instead. This will let you have different headers and footers.

Definitely use the section break, but make sure to turn off 'Same as Previous'.
