Suppressing subreport output in Main report Preview

In a CR 9 report, I have several subreports in the Main Report footer subsections. Can I somehow suppress the output of these subreports in the Main Report Preview (where drilldown on any one subreport is not available)?

The user wishes to run them all at once, i.e. in a "batch job", but be able to later select the subreport they wish to view and drilldown to its detail.

Any thoughts out there. Thanks.

Let the user set a parameter that would suppress all but one of the subreports. Each section checks the parameter and suppresses unless the parameter is blank or has its own specific code.

Thks for your reply. I am doing exactly that. I'll try to clarify my question.

My question pertains to when the user has selected say 3 reports to run, they all three place their respective output into the Main Report Preview and drilldown is not available on any of them. The user must first double click on some portion of the output for the desired report. A Preview tab and output window is then established for that report with drill down enabled.

This is confusing and cumbersome for users, especially if the reports are long, multipage subreports. I'd like to skip the Main Report preview and just directly present the Subreport Tabs and windows after the "batch" has completed.
Then they simply click on the desired tab and drill down is instantly available on that subreport. Hope this makes my dilema more clear. Any thoughts appreciated. -R-
