Hi,
I have added a column heading in the group header section of a report and conditionally suppressed it if the recordnumber <> 1. This works as expected, however it leaves a blank space if more than one record. How can I suppress the blank space that this leaves when there is more than 1 record. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean that you inserted another group section and added another column field that you then conditionally suppressed by using field suppression? Instead of field suppression, go to format section->group header_b-> suppress->x+2 and enter your suppression formula there. Then the entire section will be suppressed when the criterion is met.
