Help!!

I am producing a report that can give two different formats.

I have a formula:

If {trans_type} = "4" then "Invoice" else
if {trans_type} = "5" then "Credit Note" else "error".

If the answer to the formula is 4, I need the report footer to show, if its 5, I need it to disappear! I've had a go at putting a formula into the suppress section field but have no idea...

Thanks ever so.

What formula did you put in the suppress section field? If you didn't already, try putting in the following:

{trans_type} = 5

This is assuming that field is a number; if it's a text field, you'd need quotes around the 5, of course :)

Yep, that worked a charm. Thanks!
