Hello Everyone,

Thanks for reading my post. I'm trying to suppress the page header on the last page if there are no records printed on that page. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

Hi lbass,

Thanks for your reply, I tried what you said on the other post, but it suppresses both report header and footer as well, I just want the page header on the last page not to print if there are no records. I tried the onlastrecord one that you mentioned and that works fine but there could be instances when there would only be one record on the last page and it would be inapropriately suppressed as you said.

What I suggested would have no impact on the report header and footer, so I believe you have implemented this incorrectly. You should be creating {@true} and {@false} in the formula editor and then placing them directly in these sections. The only thing that goes in the section expert is the conditional suppression formula for the page header.

Hi lbass,

I think I may not be understanding it right. When you say create formula {@false) to be placed in report header and supressed do you mean doing this: section expert->report header->suppress->x+2
and add {@false} ? and same thign for {@true} but on the report footer?

No, go into the field explorer->formula-new. Then drag the new formulas into the report sections.
