Hello All,

I need your help while preparing this report. The report is working fine, but if the first page is blank, I want it to be skipped. How do I do that?

My report is full of subreports & groups. I tried to do "keep together" and "suppress blank sections" to all of them, but it did not work.

Can anyone help?

Or in other words >>>> how to suppress the first page if group # 1 name {Categories.name} is null

If you don't want records where "{Categories.name} is null", then exclude them from the record selection.

You should also be able to suppress groups. Report > Selection Formulas > Group.

This is based on Crystal 2008. It helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11, 2008 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

Do you have 'new page before' set on any sections? If so, add a formula to the formula area:

not onfirstrecord

If you don't, then you should try right clicking on the first subreport->format object->uncheck "Keep object together".

Thanks for the help

the problem was from the subreport where its object are together.
