So I have to renew my Support credentials by taking the ACSS 3000 exam with Pearson Vue.
I've taken the - Supporting IP Office™ Platform Release 11 - course 2 years ago at Avaya and took the exam.
Passed the exam.
But the exam had as good as nothing to do with the training that I took, it seemed +4 years out of date.
[ul]
[li]No questions about really providing support/troubleshooting on IP Office[/li]
[li]There were questions about software that wasn't even supported by Avaya itself, Contact Store, R9, One-X-Mobile 'Preferred' and no questions about the new Equinox softphone...[/li]
[/ul]
All studying, training that I did seemed irrelevant to the exam itself.
It was pure luck that I passed the exam as I'm only 4 years an Avaya IPO engineer and I have not a lot of knowledge about older versions and software.
Neither the training or the exam itself seemed very relevant for being able to provide support and be co-delivery.
Before the exam 2 year ago I asked Avaya and Pearson Vue if they knew about what release the exam was going to be. No one could answer my questions..
Has anyone taken the test lately, is it the same as before 'pure luck' or is it updated to R11 and really about 'providing support?
I AM NOT ASKING FOR THE EXAM QUESTION, JUST ABOUT THE CONTENT OF THE EXAM.
Thanks.
