Support on MD110 DNA application Suite

Hi, Everyone!
I am new in this forum and I am sure that it will help me alot.
I want to change the PC which runs DNA and not lost the credencials/configurations settings and Database that was already isn this PC. The DB on this PC is in SQL Server 7.0. This mean that I have to maintain the same version on the new PC?

I have a DNA server V.5.1 on one computer that is giving now a error "Database error", then I want to make the installation of the same DNA version to another computer and copy the credencials that are stored on that PC.

Try stopping and starting SQL and or services, that might sort out your error message.

Not too hot on 5.1... but assume you need to do a clean install, SQL then DNA, then whatever way the settings/credentials are saved are imported, sorry not sure, bit of a gray area did not do 5.1

would recommend you install windows 2000 server SP4 and SQL 2000 SP3a on new server, then import using SQL import wizard from the new server. run a full sync in MDSupport then import the dirdb database. Or export using Export.exe and import using Dirpop.exe. You will have to reinstall all the clients again. do the sync before importing the database or rebuilding.

you can use SQL 7.0 SP4 but it is not supported.

and don't forget you need license.exe to license it, if you do not have it nothing will run. Windows 2003 server is not tested on 5.1.
