I some help with the fitness room phone being a ring down phone to the attendant when it is picked up. I have not worked on a mitel this old! They will be replacing the system this year but this is needed for the hotel to pass inspection. Some guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

If you have not worked on it I doubt anyone here will be successful in instructing you how to program it.

I can tell you what needs to be done but I haven't done so in over 20 years.

First - the manuals can be found here - What you are looking for is on page 163 of Volume 1
Description
An extension with this option specified in its COS is routed directly to
the Attendant Console when going off-hook The extension can receive
calls, but all call originations must be made with the assistance of the
Attendant.
Conditions
[ul]
[li]The extension does not receive dial tone, but will receive ringback[/li]
[li]tone.[/li]
[li]Manual line service cannot be used with consoleless operation.[/li]
[/ul]Programming
Option Number 57 (Manual Line) must be specified in the COS of
the extension.

Operation
None
Page

The overlays you require for programming via the console can be found starting on page 29 of Vol 4

To enter programming mode you dial 7770 on the console

You will need to know the passcode to enter programming - Can't help you there.

A bit of friendly advice:
Before touching this system, be aware that you may cause irreparable harm.
It is a minor miracle that that system is still running at all.
That system is 30 years old, it is highly doubtful it would survive a power failure and the power supply is well past its planned lifetime.

Good luck! - You'll need it.

P.S. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole (And I've worked on them lots)
