i bought 3 3com Switches on ebay
they all work fine
but now i want to try to manage them through the console or rj45 port

but i have no idea how to do this!

i am also not sure about the ips they have.
i have no software got with them!

so - please try to help me

What´s the model of your switches?
There are some models unmanaged.

If you know your model is managed, try to reset the passwords.
Search this forum for how to reset the passwords.

but i have allready managed the problem

the problem was that the switch had no IP adress
so i used hyperterminal to give it a IP and then i used the network web tool

thx
