Hi

I understand that the SS 1000 console can provide repeated ring bursts at intervals for incoming calls while on a call. We have no remote access to the SX2000 and is anyone able to confirm before we go out there please.

1. can it be done. It does say in the console user guide that this can be set at system level ?

2. how to program it. I assume it's a COS timer some ware but it's been so long that I programmed CDE in an SX2000 I cant recall

Thank you

Attendant New Call Tone
Description
Attendant New Call Tone notifies you of new calls to the attendant console through an audible
indication. New calls include calls that are added to the call waiting queue and held calls that
recall the console. The audible indication is a warbling tone; it is a short burst if you are engaged
in another call or a periodic warbling tone if you are not engaged in another call.
Conditions
• In a multi-console system, only the attendant who has a held call that recalls receives the
new call tone.
• An attendant who has an incoming call to the console receives the new call tone.

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

Hi nytalking

Thanks for that. Well as there is no mention of repeating the tone at intervals or any particular programming then I guess we are not going to be able to do that !
