I have got an old Super Stack II 1100 with 24x10Base-T and 2x100Base-T ports.
Ther is no reset port and the serial command line is disabled.
I only know that the IP has been 10.x.x.x .
thx,

i only know the IP has been in this area.
i have made a list of areas and scanned it for ping and telnet port, but i didnt find any match.

is there any reset pin on the board?

Unless you can find a MAC address of the unit, and then match your ARP tables from your ping scanning, I don't see a way for you to get in my friend. Sorry.
No reset pin as far as I know on those units.

I think I remember a procedure for 1100 and 3300 which involved using the 3com serial utility and re-flashing over the serial port.

My old engineer colleagues could do it, I think it was a firmware upgrade at power on could get you in, there was something in the KnowledgeBase about it.

i have tried this already, but the switch ist not givig a handshake, I only get <0> with hyperterminal when i power the switch on.

would it be possible that somebody has disabled the whole management?
