I have a small network of WinXP, Solaris 10, and Linux machines. The WinXP machines run Hummingbird Exceed and we expect that the Solaris and Linux boxes appear in the Display Chooser window when running XDMCP broadcast.

The Linux boxes appear in the list. The Suns will disappear from the list. They tend to reappear when we restart dtlogin on them, after which they'll appear for a period of time and then disappear again. The Suns all have the rest of the network defined in their Xaccess files. I don't see any tell-tale errors in any of their logs.

I've been told that this "used to work" - how can I get these Suns to consistently show up?

Thanks!

I ran into this problem a several years ago when I first installed Solaris 10. If I remember correctly, it was something to do with Solaris 10 not supporting pcnfs. My notes are very vague on why. But, the web site is still avaliable so you can download pcnfs_sparc.tar.
