I am a new fish and I have never patched Sun OS. My cdrom is busted (it will not read/or boot) and i am trying to install some recommended patches to see if that will get the bugs out of my cdrom. I have found all the recommended patches and just need a little instructional lesson on how to install the patches.

Recommended patchs from Sun are in cluster format you just need to unzip the file and execute "install_cluster" script found in extracted directory, you can monotoring progress
by take a look at file patch_order, when finish just reboot ...
