I am just the beginner of Sun/Solaris Administrator. Please help me:
1. Which command I have to issue to check Sun/Solaris performance, such as: how busy it is,how many processes are running, memory, swap space are used, I/O, etc...
2. How to read the meaning of the result of that command ?
3. Then after I detect, reconize the problem then how can I fix it ?
4. At this time I have 3 applications running in this Sparc machine.
Where can I find out all their configurations to know resources requirements for these applications and databases ?

Many thanks

Try the following commands:
iostat
vmstat
top
uname
prtconf
To get more details about this commands, use "man" (e.g. man iostat).

To reset the password follow these steps.

1. go to command prompt
2. go to Arcserve/Brightstore Directory
3. type "cstop"
4. type "cstart"
5. type "ca_auth -user getall"
6. type "authsetup /p"

This will set the caroot password back to blank
