Summing Autofilter results 1

I need a formular that sums up the autofilter results. Can this be done using a formula or I need a macro or both?'

I any ideas? I am running Office XP. Thanks...

Hi,

You can use the SUBTOTAL function to sum...

=SUBTOTAL(9,A:A)

assuming that column A is the column of interest.

Hi,
AutoFilter results can be summed as if they were the only cells on the sheet. So if you select the cell below those you want to sum and use the AutoSum button, the total will reflect only the cells showing.

Thanks all of you. I used Skip's solution. Yes, I can use the autosum but I wanted to see the sum as I change my autofilter "entries." Once again, thanks a lot.
