Summary Tab

We are using GoldMine 6.0 Corporate Edition and the values for the fields on the Summary Tab are not updating. For example, a record will have a Call scheduled for 3/4/2004 but will not have a value in the Next Step or Next Call field on the Summary Tab.

I have tried restoring several backups but still have the same problem. I have even gone into the Fields5 table in MSSQL and deleted and reentered the calculations for updating the Summary Tab fields and still have the same problem. I can manually update the values by editing the pending activity in GoldMine and once I select ok it will update the Summary Tab values but this will be a very long process since there are over 5,000 records that have this problem.

Any suggestions would really help.

Hi,

Sounds like its not finding the CONTACT2 record correctly - ensure a contact2 record exists for all records. Although your on SQL and you shouldn't have to, it might be worth rebuilding the CONTACT2. As I say you shouldn't have to do that but I've seen GM get in a muddle and that resolve it before in SQL.

I have checked and it appears that a contact2 record does exist for all records. I have also rebuilt the contact2 table and still see the same results so I am baffled.
