I have conditional surpression on the detail in a report. When I insert a subtotal it adds in the surpressed info. How do I summarise only the unsurpressed detail?

Use running totals - use the condition you use to suppress the field as a condition for excluding the field from the total.
Malcolm Wynden
wynden@island.dot.net

I had the same problem on a report of mine and what I did was take the surpress code and incorporate into you record selection code (what records you want to pull - it is going to be opposite of what you want to surpress) and then continue to let CR handle the totals.
LindaC
lcastner@co.orange.ny.us

Thanks between the 2 tips I now have the report working as I want it to.
Thanks Guys
