Hi

I'm building a cube with chart of accounts as a dimension.
I can't get it to add op, on a member.

ex. I have 4 sales members, and need to show a total sales. But on the same level in the dimension.

I'm using Custom member formula, and have got it working if I only use one earlier member.

How do I get it to sum up the 4??

You need to establish a hierarchy or parent record for the 4 sales members.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have another dimension where there is build a hierarchy.

The problem about this, is that I'm already on 7 levels, which result in, that before I'm seeing the level I'm interested in, it is gone out to the right of the screen.

So I'm looking for a way to put in subtotals for the right level. (something like a spreadsheet), and thereby have a flat dimension, but still with subtotals.

I've setup the custom formula, and are able to pick one earlier member and to other dimensions. This works.
ex.
([Accounts].&[6195],[Measures].CurrentMember,[Date].CurrentMember)

But I would like to write
((SUM OR AGGREGATE([Accounts].&[6195]..[Accounts].&[6995]),[Measures].CurrentMember,[Date].CurrentMember)

But I can't get it to work.
