I have a report of registrants (First, Last name, etc.) for an upcoming meeting. I have been attempting several expressions to total the # of registrants in the footer of the report. None have worked so far. I have tried:

=sum([LastName]) and count(*) in addition to many others.

Can you tell me what expression I use to just to total the number of records (or registrants) at the bottom of my report?

Your help would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you,

Linda

You should be able to use:
=Count(*)
Make sure this text box is in the Report Footer and not the Page Footer.

Thanks! It worked. So glad you mentioned that my expression needed to be in the Report footer - rather than the page footer!
