I have made a report with contract ours for station and regions. There are many stations per region.

In the footer of stations I have an unbound field named "Kontrakttot". Via a visual basic routine I calculate the value for "Kontrakttot". This works perfectly.
What I need for the region report footer of the report is the sum of "Kontrakttot".
I tried sum([Kontrakttot]) but this is unknown in the region report footer.
Who can give me a solution for this?

I have create hundreds of reports and never needed to use "visual basic routine I calculate the value". Perhaps this is something you can avoid.

Hallo dhookom,
I am always interested to solve report issues with queries. The problem with my report now is that my customer was asking for more information in an exsisting report. That information was not available in the exsisting tabels of my database. So I had to add new tables. I tried to define a query for my report, but I had a lott of problems doing so. That why I tried first to solve it with Dsum, no result.
Finally I have solved it with visual basic code for both StationID and RegionID footers.
BDW I changed the report query without parameters and use now a form asking for the starting and ending date.
If you are interested I can send the new query and the two visual basic codes I have used.
Thank you for your advice.
Regards,
Apestaart

Please don't send me anything. If you want us to help you possibly avoid the code then we need to see the record source SQL of the report as well as your code.
