Since studying assembly as one of my course units and playing around with some basic stuff, I really want to further my knowledge, can any assembly programmers give me a recommendation like what material or book(s) they have read in the past to achieve a better understanding.

Any suggestions....

Thanks for the replies.

There's

Peter Norton's Assembly Language Book for the IBM PC (The Peter Norton Foundation Series) (Paperback)

as available from Amazon.

Does 16 bit dos programming.

Which may or may not be what you're looking for...

Whenever I look at assembly language programs, on this and other sites, they are always full of MS-DOS style programs. Part of the reason is that, if you want to cover every part of assembly language, you have got to use DOS type programs, otherwise Windows will get in your way.
