Not sure how to do this so looking for some suggestion.
I am moving a group of users from one system to another and looking for a way to convert the old DID's to the new DID's though my internal point to point network.
We currently have 4 digit dialing within the same system and 7 digit dialing to another networked location.
I have a phantom 4 digit DN that is DCFW'd to the new 7 digit number. The first 3 digits are the CDP code and is stripped when sent out.
The issue is that when it rolls over to voice mail the voice mail system is looking for the original dialed DN (4 digits). Not an issue as long as I don't already have a like 4 digit DN already programed in voice mail.
So my question is there a way to convert that 4 digit number to the 7 digit number so I don't run into the voice mail issue?
I tried IDC but I can only convert to 4 digits.
Will using an ACD NCFW make the changed needed?
Any help would be appreciated!
