Hi,

Are there suggestions for specific guides, redbooks, tutorials for TSM beginners?

thx

The Redbooks "TSM Admin Guide", "TSM User Guide", and TSM reference Guide".

you might also wanna check out adsm.org and take a look at
and search the adsm.org message archive.

TSM (or ITSM or ADSM) (the name changes every few years)
hasn't changed that greatly over the years.

The server is fairly well documented as are the clients.

Is there anything in particular you want to accomplish?

(bear in mind ADSM.QuickFacts is not a tutorial, but a reference)

Hi amphibient,

I have never used TSM before but we are planning on migrating to it from Legato in ~ 6months so I wanted to read-up on -it from a basic level to start.

You will definetly need to take an instructor lead class if you want to start from the basics. TSM is not an easy piece of software to use or maintain.

Although I've been using TSM a while, I'm still a newbie- barely a power user.

That being said, how about a TSM for Dummies book? Or a TSM book from the folks at O'Reilly? -JG
