Hi All.

We have network servers that need to be monitored from a central point. OS's on these servers are UNIX, IRIX, Solaris and Windows NT. There are about 10 servers in total to be monitored.

It is a requirement that each server have a local log file recording all monitored data.
Services and applications, operating system errors, and hard disk drive space are amoung items which would need to be monitored on each of the servers. It appears that there would need to be a client/agent running on each server to achieve this.

Does anybody have any suggestions for products to achieve this? I have looked at Unicenter, Tivoli, Openview and Big Brother.

Thankyou.
