All of a sudden I have no service outside of the PBX. If anyone tries to call in they get a fast busy. if I try and dial out, we get a fast busy. What happened? I have Comcast fiber with 23 lines. Comcast sez they can get to the Adtran, but my pbx is not receiving.
If I try placing a call, nothing comes through the adtran.

Is there a reset command or something to re establish connection? what if I power cycle the meridian's adtran?

of course this has to happen just before our huge turkey day brunch!

The ld60 stat looks to be indicating a layer 1 issue. You can try reseting one but i think you will end up checking cable at yiur end but unless someone is working in the area its unlikely. Then get carrier to investigate.

To reset a link

Thank you!
Carrier can see their adtran fine. In the old command's you gave, what is "x"?

More info:

Comcast is using an Adtran 900e, which then connects to an Adtran Atlas 500, which then connects to my Meridian 1. The atlas is ours not comcast

Double-check the Atlas and the cables.

I see that you had a red alarm, and that's a connectivity (usually local) issue - like a wire unplugged or a unit without power.

If both your circuits go into the Atlas, then that would be the first place to look.

THank you all for your responses.
I bit the bullet and call the tech sup co. The tech basically re enebled all those channels through LD 60. Now thst I know that ooooo

There was some form of disturbance in the integrity of the connection. I was moving some cat5 around near the adtrans, but I thought I was being very cautious. Or maybe something hiccupped at Comcast. The meridian is supposed to re-connect automatically after some connection issue but apparently not.

thanks again
