I have an Anycom CC3032 bluetooth device..

I have this on two different Vista x64 machines, they both no longer work.

The device lights up, even shows up in Device Manager fine and dandy, but in Control Panel.. Bluetooth.. Hardware tab.. nothing shows up.

i've tried adding/removing the adapter to no avail.

Has anyone run into this.. i find it hard to believe that both adapters could be bad, I'm suspecting a windows update hosed things?

Thanks

How close to each other are these machines, is some other equipment some how interfering with your connection?

When did they last work? Is there a System Restore point available just prior to their failure?

Are there any clues in the Event Viewer?

The machines are 20 miles apart lol (literally).. no clues in event viewer..

I did something obvious though and its working on the one now.. I switched usb ports.. i dont know why this mattered, but its fine now.

Thanks for the reply.

Just the action of switching USB ports can cause the operating system to rediscover the hardware and install drivers again, maybe that's what happened in your case?
