Hi all,
I am using PB7 with embeded SQL to update a large DB2(Ver7)table on IBM mainframe. After running sql/script, I have been able to verify that the update of up to 58k records was indeed successful, but my script, which is to return the count of updated records returns either -7454 or -27139. This update consistently takes about half an hour. I have had database folks watch this run and there are no locks and I am not timing out... any ideas?

Hi,

Check the class of the variable holding your count - integers can only count up to 32768.

Cheers.
