Subtracting Hexidecimal

Hello everyone,

I hope I am in the right forum.

Could someone please give me the rules for subtracting hexidecimals?

They're the same as for subtracting numbers in any other base.

Thank you for the reply. Now I realize I maybe having a little trouble with hex. Do you know of a website that I could go to to strengthen my knowledge in hex.

As Salem says arithmetic in hexadecimal is the same as in decimal.
Decimal is base 10, there are 10 symbols 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
10 in decimal is 1 ten and 0 units, 11 is 1 ten and 1 unit etc…
Hexadecimal is exactly the same except its base is 16, there are 16 symbols 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F (A-F representing the numbers 10 – 15)
10 in hex is 1 sixteen and 0 units, B in hex is 0 sixteen and 11 units, 2E in hex is 2 sixteen and 14 units.
