hello all,

i have a text box in the form footer that calculates a field from the subform.

what i need is i want the value from the text box in the form footer to appear also in the main form.

So why can't you just move the textbox?

I think the textbox is in the subform footer.. If yes then
place a textbox on the main form and set controlsource to
[tt]
=MainformName!SubformName.Form!TextBoxNameOntheSubformFooter
[/tt]
