I have a report that calls many subreports; when I Preview the outer most report all looks good, but when I then hit the Print button one subreport does not display. The label prints but the actual field does not. I have read through past postings and found some similar examples, but I haven't found any advise to solve the problem. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated.

Hi, it's been my experience with this sort of thing that it usually amounts to a sizing problem. I'd look at that and do some experimenting.

Unfortunately I don't know what exactly you are referencing when you say "a sizing problem". What do I need to take a better look at? I appreciate your input.

Hi, It's kind of baffling you see the whole thing on print preview but not on print. For me it was the subreport size that was causing the problem.I'd check the margins on your reports - the subreport in particular and do a little experimenting.

I've found that to be a problem especially when there are two or more subreports. Also, the Can Grow property of the subreport is something to look at - depending on how your report is set up.

Again I appreciate your help. I am assuming that I did have an error somewhere with the sizing/margins (though I could never track it down) so I completly rebuilt the subreport and that seems to have solved my problem at least for right now.

Thanks,
Stephen
